I just sent out the following newsletter (check your junk mail, that’s where mine ended up):
Hello beautiful people!!!!
A few months ago I switched from Feedburner to Feedblitz and for many of you, that meant unsubscribing from the Feedburner subscriptions.
However, due to some good advice from a trusted friend, I’ve decided it best to move back to Feedburner. I know this is most inconvenient to once again ask you to subscribe through another service, but if you could just bear with me (and pray Feedburner doesn’t shut down), we can make this as smooth and easy a transition as possible.
Here is all you need to do:
Click here and subscribe through Feedburner.
It may show you are already subscribed. In this case, you don’t need to do anything!
But be sure you confirm your subscription in order to receive the updates! An email will show up and you’ll need to open it and click the link. (Check your spam folder if you did not receive one after signing up).
If you subscribed through Feedblitz because you subscribed in the last 8 weeks, you will need to resubscribe through Feedburner. Just click here and follow the instructions.
I will be shutting down Feedblitz so bear with me if you get double posts a few times while I make the switch! If you want to unsubscribe from the Feedblitz email updates, just make sure it’s Feedblitz you’re unsubscribing from and not Feedburner. You can tell in the footer who is delivering.
I promise all this switching will be worth it! I’ll be coming out with a FREE eBook for all subscribers to thank you for your community and let you know just how much I appreciate you!! So watch for that news in the coming weeks!
Please advise, if you don’t switch, you won’t receive updates in your in box. Don’t fret though, because you can always come right to the Joyful Mothering blog and subscribe through the box in the sidebar.
I’m excited about rolling out some new content and eBooks in the coming year!! Oh yes, I’ve been working behind the scenes this past several weeks!
Thank you for your patience as we make this transition!! I treasure each of you!
Joy in Christ,
Christin, Joyful Mothering

Hi Christin. Can you talk about why you switched and why you are switching back? I’m very curious from the rss feed standpoint. I’ve seen a lot of bloggers switch over to Feedblitz recently and wondered why – and was curious about your change, too.
Absolutely! I switched for fear that Feedburner was going to shut down and I’d lose contact with all my subscribers. However, Feedblitz is a paid for service that charges based on number of email subscribers (which is better than RSS subscribers because many are letting go of feed readers). I cannot justify spending money monthly for something {which will continually increase) when I can get it for free still. If it turns out Feedburner does shut down, I now know how to export all my subscribers so I can move them if need be. However, I do believe I will choose another service other than Feedblitz. For it being a paid service, it isn’t that impressive. I’d rather go to MailChimp if it came down to that. It offers much nicer delivery options.
But, for the time being, until Feedburner breathes it’s last, I’ll stick with it.
Hoping this transition is smooth as can bee, Christin! I know that can be a pain. Merry Christmas!
Im still subscribed through feedburner so I wont miss a thing
. Hoping for a great new year for the both of us. Thanks for all the encouragment you post
